ACCOMMODATION

The accommodation is either in Old Mill Barn next door which can sleep up to 10 (so partners, husbands or friends who want to pursue their own interests through the day could accompany you), or smaller groups will use the guest accommodation at Bridge Studio.

FOOD

Breakfast is in the barn for large groups - I supply all you want so that you can prepare your own at your own time and convenience.

Mid-morning tea and coffee arrives at the studio with home-made cakes or biscuits, a light lunch is served followed by afternoon refreshments.

In the evening a three course meal is served. All food is home-made and when available, home-grown. We have a large veggie garden, free range hens and our own beef and pork.

AREA

Gamblesby is a tranquil sandstone village in the Eden Valley at the foot of the Pennines. This is a beautiful part of Cumbria often missed by the hordes heading for the Lake District. There are great walks for all abilities in the area and we have eight acres of pasture, a large mill pond with a seat and some very special pets...
