A long-awaited new addition to our much-loved Pattern Box series, the Becket Miracle Hand Quilting Kit combines rich medieval inspiration with the timeless pleasure of traditional hand stitching.
Designed exclusively for us by Guild member Jacqui Cotterill, this striking design takes inspiration from the famous Thomas Becket Miracle Windows in the Trinity Chapel of Canterbury Cathedral, blending architectural motifs, pilgrimage symbolism, and historic quilting traditions into one beautifully textured project.
The design celebrates Canterbury Cathedral’s unique connection to the history of quilting in Britain, home to the Black Prince’s quilted arming coat dating from 1376, believed to be the oldest surviving piece of hand quilting in the British Isles.

The result is a richly detailed hand quilting project that feels both historic and contemporary. Perfect for slow stitching, mindful making, and creating a finished piece to treasure.
